I missed you guys. I had to move back home permanently, my house burned down. I had 7 journals filled with poetry since childhood...and they're all gone now. It's been hard for me, I have a new perspective on life now. Losing everything but the clothes on your back changes you. Anyway, this is my first poem since my life changed. When life becomes entangled
And sadness has grown so
...do not despair...
"For He orders His angels
to protect you wherever you go" (Psalms 91:11)

When happiness seems nevermore
And shadow falls on everything
...keep believing because...
"Now faith is the substance hoped for
the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1)

"Hatred stirreth up strifes
but love covereth all sins" (Proverbs 10:12)
...so...
When everyday cuts like a knife
Just open your heart and let God in

Show people the love we all deserve
Action speaks louder than words ever do
...the Lord says...
"My little children, let us not love in word,
neither in tongue; but in deed and truth" (1 John 3:18)

"Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace and pursue it" (Psalms 34:14)
...never forget...
With God you're never misunderstood
All heartache need be omit

"Man is like a breath;
his days are like a fleeting shadow" (Psalms 144:4)
...so while we're here...
Rejoice unto God and be blessed
For we are never guaranteed a tomorrow
