About a girls boyfriend.

Emotionally typed
And carefully thought about
was an email to a love
Saying "It's not working out"

Stubbornly scratched out
On a bench around here
Were the initials of a couple
Who used to be more dear.

Sloppily written
On a napkin in an inn
Was the last love letter
Anyone would get from him.

Professionally carved
Into a beautiful marble
It read "Beloved Son,
and soon to be father"
