Get over yourselves!
You're not as big as you may think
hot headed heavy weights and tiny teen queens
make me want to kill
affection, sympathy; somethings you could use
but I'm wasting my time with you superficial media prostitutes
doing what you do, because it's expected
can't you think for yourself
ignore the judging eyes of the uneducated
be more than an item, displayed on this sick shelf
Break ground and be your own
but oh yes, I remember now, you can't
because if you don't fit in
they'll think you're weird
Get over yourselves..

thankyou! I'm pretty sick of where I live currently, and I wrote this after a petuclarily long day of dealing with several of the same person. People I know are pretty frustrating and I had to put this poem down on paper that night. I'm very glad you enjoyed it!

I just finished reading Rosie Cheeks and again I feel what you are expressing so well in your poetry. I keep coming back to this poem and rereading it. I have written about the war and about the congress and I know I can not come close to the way you have expressed your feelings. I am envious in my complete appreciation of your poems.
