I Have Seen The Light
For a while now I have felt that there was something calling me
something's in the air now
Put my head to the ground, I can feel its heart beat
a murmur in the wind now
and it's a long, long way
it's a long, long way from home
my light is shining bright
and everything will be alright
where the country road expires and it meets the winter heat
betcha never been there
on the edge of what has been and what will truly always be
gonna pitch a tent there
and it's a long, long way
but it's the only way to go
in the darkest night
what is wrong is right
because I have seen the light

Dark and Light
There is both a sense of hope and resignation in the darkness/light imagery. I love the tensions of questions between the two.
