I just found out my 2nd cousin
was shot and killed.
We've all heard this story
many times: the adolescence
teen joins a gang for the
wrong kinda thrill.
He got off of work to
visit his girlfriend and his
newborn baby girl.
soon as he steps out the car
he get hit in the back
and another young black male
falls to this cold! cold! world.
We are around the same age
but I believe I'm a couple of
months older.
I only knew little things about him.
My thoughts and prayers go to
the sister and mother.
We always beat ourselves
and think how we could have
made things better, "if only I did this"
and "if only I did that"
It defies our beliefs
that our loved one's are
never coming back.
