Sorrow Of Xmas

Do you wonder?At Christmastime
Where the ghosts and ghoulies go?
Do they perch upon some tree-limbs
Do they shiver in the snow?

After nightfall do they gather
At the windows of our street
Do they see us at the hearth-side
As we share some Christmas treat?

Yet if they could remember
As they see the joy inside
They'd shed a tear,-A frosty tear
And wish they'd never died
