The Power of Science
I thought I saw an angel and
I thought that he saw me.
He was drinking crystal water by
A sagging Willow tree
Now I am atheistic and
I know this cannot be
By reason and by logic and
Psychology you see!
So tightly I closed my eyes
And by logic knew I must be wrong
Peaceful now I looked again,and
Thank God he is gone.

Beautiful
Lovely poem; brought together several interesting concepts, with great imagery (especially at the end of the first verse). I also liked the humour at the end of the second verse.
Since I'm sort of compelled to make a criticism, I thought the first line of the third verse broke the great rhythm you'd built up and slowed the flow of the whole poem. Not sure you want to re-use logic in the second line? Maybe an alternative word?
Otherwise brilliant :)
Power of Science
Well done, I love the irony of the last line: Thank God he is gone.
