In The Fields of Forever

In fields of forever, I wait for thee
As clouds drift over the silver sea
Send me thy love on the sylvan breeze
Through the song of the birds, and the Moon's mysteries.

Here 'neath the shadow of a sycamore tree
In the wandering wind, I think of thee
Through golden clouds and fleeting mists
I long to taste thy sugar kiss.

Someday, true love, on thee, I'll shower
Like the morning breeze through the lilac flowers
In the fields of forever, I'll wait for thee
Till then, my love, remember me.

Glad you enjoyed my love poem. The park I go to always gives me some kind of inspiration. It's the perfect environment for poets. Though I think I'm the only poet who goes there. Have written a lot of my poems there, including this one!

I agree with the above. And yes, the title is a gem.

Thanks again for your kind words, Poetmaster!
