Comfort...
Solace, peace, and sweet joy they bring
Everytime avians do sing
What comfort of nature today?
Oh! Nature's love does come this way!
On a flowered veranda we swing
As we watch a bumble bee sting
The flutter of fair humming birds
Listen to my lover's fair words
Kids down by an old hollow tree
Playing games wandering free
As the bees swarm, sting, they do run
Oh! I suppose it's natural fun
Oh! Swing and embrace summer's taste
Cold lemonade, drink in hot haste
Perfect perfume of red rose blooms
The scent of glycerine doth swoon
As we swing, til the night moon shines
The love of my life, I feed sweet lines
As the music of the eve begins to sing
What joy will summer love so bring?
Rocking back and forwards we sway
Rediscovered our old love today
By the stars' glow of the night sky
Just rock and embrace, don't ask why!
In comfort's land of carefree days
Show love's many gentle ways
Where we find days to talk of joy
Hearts tender, free and yet coy!
This comfort as we swing and embrace
Ensues while honey bees swarm and chase
Our young loving children, down the hill
Memoirs of our young love, what a thrill!
