Free As A Song, Yet So Coy and Shy...

Free to love, or free to resist
Yet she gave me my first kiss
So coy she was, a foggy mist

Unable to see my love for her
Like a cat, she'd screech and purr
I was able to touch her heart and stir

Those latent emotions that rise and fall
Those feelings that come and go, replay
The songs of beauteous lovebirds' call

Enchanted, cherished, song of the soul
Yet coy, cool, reserved, breaks a mold
Lights up my heart, like cherished gold

None could match the wonder in her eyes
As I find her treasure, a realm of surprise
Mystery, magic, mystic sunrise

Lights the trail destined to find
As the world turns, love to hold
Gifts to betow from a wonderful mind

As the world turns ages and blends
The music of their greater day,
Love is everpresent and does send...

Fables of lover's sweet exotic tales
Of colorful love, youth never fails...
Free as a song, yet coy and shy
Love melodies float to the sky!
