Free verses under a temperate Tuesday
To sit and reminisce under a temperate sky
But to be confined, nay consumed by a concrete jungle
Would only instigate the mind towards a Tuscanny sun
Never knowing such a life, as life passed by
Would only procrastinate and prolong Desire
Confuson did i face When i tried to reflect
Upon the subjects that did haunt my mind
The prevalence of my thoughts and the many Neglected
So be it; I too must face my Dogs of War
On realising Too late that 'Havoc' had been cried
Misery doth love Company; Too much
Stricken by a Passion of a rare degree
My tumultuos heart; that Phantasm that often plagues the mind
Did now wreak thus very a Havoc upon it
My soul did escape but never could flee
From the one who had unknowingly, Baited; Ensnared
Perhaps Passion was the all, naught else
I would be alarmed if my sorry disposition were Thus
To be callous as that, with such coarse passions of Hell
Damn'ed be I, For uttering such Mortal Confession
Ascension and Decent, My Right and My Left
Indeed i know both Well
Brought back to earth by the many cries of the un-dead children
Which leave my tainted soul bereft
Though some great solace can be sought in the Knowledge; That
Ones actions need'nt be held against oneself
Judgement, I can only await the Sting
For by this Hour, Despair is pointlessly and hopelessly Fleeting
Being one to have heard "The Host" sing
My Past acions reflect naught but, Infidelity
So be it, my smile bears false; a Frown
One such as I will never wear Crown
The malice i bear is counterfeit
But I Fear the Destituition of this Tainted Sould is not
For in it, The true Distortion lies
Will my Base passions never be slaked?
For this quest will most certainly entwine my path with Perdition
Misery loves Company; In the minds Cesspool they brew
Ever multiplying to prey of one such as I
Thus we become Symbiotically Fraternal
The Wraith is One with the One that was
To prey and devour; to Forever Consume
Enough; let this Freak Vacillation Cease
Too much to ponder shall make Decrepit my health
So Thus, I avert my Minds eye to the one who Ensnared
And Pray in the Name of Passion
She'll bid my Fears Surcease
