The Road Kill..by Peter Addo

THE ROAD KILL
By Rev Peter Addo

The orange globe ahead was the sure sign of morning .
What a night it had been, dark and dreary and the music sad.
The whole world it seemed had gone mad
Making me lonely and lost in another world .
Down I went as I cleared the hill
Splattered in front of me the road kill.
And as the music turned to the news
My dream met the reality of a southern spring.
When there is a frenzy sweep in creation.
