watching eyes
polite smiles
sharpened blades
ready open graves
have another muffin?
nails in your coffin?
inside your heart gives its loudest thud
the next course will be your blood
the charming host cuts the bread
the silver knife whispers 'soon your dead'
the gentleman beside you pops the cork
while another lady twirls a sharpened fork
oh but why do you want to leave all this fun?
your sure you saw the old man try to hide a gun
your knuckles white you grasp your chair
are those snakes in the hostesses hair?
you must escape and get out of here
but dont let them realise its out of fear
are there dead roaches in your fried mushroom?
perhaps an open window in the bathroom?
standing up you try to excuse yourself
but the room starts to swirl and your struck with sudden failing health

you stare up at the swirling lights
your heart screams with primal fright
the chubby guest dabs his mouth with napkin
oh well, others proclaim, these things happen
you cant move your limbs, you've been disabled
they lift you and serve you onto the table
their laughs ring in the room quite hearty
you are now the centre of attention at the dinner party

a knife and fork in your leg, hits the bone
another guest requests to take some home
the gentlemen all enjoy their tasty feast
and ladies comment on the taste of this beast

from your bones is carved all flesh
while merciless hosts chew on the rest
