what a fool
thought I was special
but i was not
but for an agenda,
a miserable plot

because of this, my human need
i became victim to another man's greed

Although it depends
how you look upon it
Another man gains
while I feel like --it.

And so do you see how terrible it is
that someone made a mockery of true expression
whether sage thought or trite.
I hope no one looses heart but continues to write.
Though you speak loudly, you may not be heard
but never forgotten is the written word.

i hoped i was special, but felt i was not
no money exchanged
yet i lost quite a lot.

grateful for prudence
though caught unaware
naively i thought
that someone would care
about the words I felt compelled to write
the power of which woke me up at night.

I am much more than a pawn in a scheme
a person who ponders and continues to dream.

Words I write down not for money or fame
just to share thoughts though lowly my name.
