Many a day have been spent in this mood
just wondering of life and its course
to really feel love in the heart of ourselves
we must share in carrying His cross

The beauty of giving remain often hidden
unless we open our hearts
in surrender to God
so His wisdom to us He imparts

Blessed by the Spirit to feel all of life
to give of ourselves we freely choose
but with minds full of darkness
and hearts touched by greed
we fear we have too much to lose

Such subtle desire we cling to so long
our salvation seems hung by a thread
not seeing in losing this foolish illusion
we then by God's hand will be fed

So dimly we wander in darkness
while seekers of love showered in light
look with their hearts and not with their minds
to glimpse with their spiritual sight
to see whats been given in love to us all
if with tender hearts we'd explore
the binding of Spirit that makes us all one
and that all mankind are His sons
