Lost In Rejuvenation
Struggle or rest?
But not of my concern,
Such is the trek of a daring cat
Sticking curiosity along a silky web.
Desiring a kiss, but confused by her naughty tricks,
Abandon what compass guiding my path,
Not to track what paved by her command.
A devoted puppet left to her design,
Dreaming beauty behind steel doors and glass
Where sparks and flames combined
Into masterpieces beyond pictures and shine.
Yet as always, the elixir I seek be free,
With a flask hollow and blind,
To extract for me what glacial peace
Thus to sprinkle upon baking sands
Bathing in fumes where green shoots revive,
I leave a part of me behind,
For richness is not for the busy mind,
Blending my quest for myself alone
Tonight.
