To You, A Delivery

A gift to you I send today
Spreading wings of lucid light.
Floating vast to web what beauty
Of blessings shining bright.

Drowsy wine now empty a flask,
Poetic thoughts wrought to unknown height.
What celestial grace! Rain of pouring flowers.
Swept to grasp, in tenderness we unite.
Not to ash, but to fulfill what
Milky and soft, the spell to write,
Flows of colorful crayons
Binding what candles shimmering tonight,
Silky smooth, yet sweetness abide.
To inspire elegance, leasing tight
The ribbons to decorate, in warmth
Your cozy dream of lily white.

Gentle breeze, please! Do tend
What blessings I free, a stringless kite
By guidance of heart, drifting in
What the harp gently streams, out of sight,
The ship now bound for you:
Angelic heart of silver’s heavenly delight.
