but the demons have the art of war
with the twist of tasting the renown

Cyrus was the LORD's however
but what the simple didn't know
is that the enemy knows who are really in love and who aren't
so they say also that the called are Babylon
and offer false divinity and the Antichrist
for those who do not love
but only desire peace and safety
and the simple don't argue
while even the witches have their own deal
in which they take on the called's sins
so the simple are left even more so to grow dim

But Jesus and David know that God saves even through darkness
therefore we are bold and undignified
courageous and full of zeal
to fear nothing corrupted
and the fallen don't want to pour themselves out for love
nor glory over corruption
as He did
though bearing menstrual rags
and therefore as Elijah and Elisha
I go from rolling and wheels unto the Jordan
and the enrapturing of what love feels
even as I redeem the waste and desolation
of what corruption seeks to kill, destroy, and steal
and the enemy kneels
as I make beauty, command light, and create
and the mirror absorbs and reflects
and the enrapturing fire heals
even as the flaming sword is substance and desire
as an orange and it's peel
