6th grader tryin to suck oxygen out of the cracked garage door
said no many times
but found life a bore
made my choice before it was offered again to me
~went in completely ready~

If only...gotta get rid of this tobacco still
know the power of believing?
even in my distresses it was there for me

I know a God
my God
the only God
who saves out of everything
He even has the draw string ready
and saves in stride
though by sight
things may have came
as if there was no hope
proclaiming the end
but His rewards are generous and free
and they are perfectly prudent
ready and waiting

It is so choice
to see it
when all is swept away
I run like this
though the storm seems to be raging
that the room may not be empty

as a non existent thing
darkness is
and I have no confidence in it
neither agreeing with it's claims
no matter what the circumstance
because of what was graciously given to me

That tasting
and receiving of the heavenly gift
partaking of the Holy Spirit
tasting the good word of God
and the powers of the age to come

My daughter has not one scratch on her
I was the one who weaned her
and have supplanted all things
also receiving the faith
without having to steal it
she can never be dishonored

One day
when her mother left
though she was yet born
I decided that very hour
to fast and
read the Bible
at Barnes and Noble

I continued in Him
and made myself accountable

the sweetness of the knowledge of God
was something to me
that is unspeakable
and so are His present Promises
and the substance of Him
I am without speech
He has reached and filled the un-amountable

He asked me day
also prompting me what to say
it was in full free will
as He loves giving the time of wanting to do it
and ensures that nothing gets away

And that is when I received

For she is under me

Warfare was on the rise
it was the little
and though evil did deny
it entailed my life

"Make me second only to You"
I believed I had what I asked for
and I received it
and the responsibility
Spirit possessing
gives only goodness and the kingdom of life and light
