Overcoming in the South

I think of you
and beyond lines
I know only love

I hide in my heart
love
for our wedding's visible and invisible consummation of love that shall eternally stay

My hope doesn't disappoint with you
I don't have to hurt
and in your love
my praise you never earned
shall we win each other
even in the definition of a 'flirt'
it is only us being conveyed
even from clay and dirt

I have before
been so eaten up by zeal sometimes
that I didn't know what to do with myself

My desired boast
has been to not make decisions
for others
though without 'venting' feelings
as His life and love never return void
I find sweet refuge
in pouring myself out
and though I have broken before
my Redeemer is strong
and I reap in joy

His terrors concern
not finding His love
and since my youth
I have suffered
but my love is sure
and the chief desire of my heart
is for you to forever remain
