The tongue's adoring

I have likened you
to the most beautiful thing I have ever known

Even before my stumblings
yielding was my most precious stone

Not in front of men
or even in that ultimatum to be shone

Abigail's way
was love unto me
even before the written word breathed

I ask you for a sign
as a kiss in testimony

I am in this to live and to die
and beyond corruption
and it's lines
I have fastened the life
and prepared the way

it is the truth in God
where even among these
I did not allow them to be swayed

I was as a disciple
running behind His feet
even as Elisha
even sharing the Master's direction, air, and rate
even having the love
of which the dust from His feet
was behind me
and at our rest we did clean

I asked something of Him
which was hard for man

I approached Him undignified
and yet still humble
and with a straight and narrow plan

When foreknowledge
and depths
and what is everlasting
are found
in the presence
of sincerity, intracacy, and discretion's giving cloud (Proverbs 3:20)

There is the substance that is true and peaceful in love
I asked for the meeting
of these things
and that zeal would be sound
though also set in the image of faithfulness being in what is above

Your name
is even higher to me
than the testimonies which are around
for it is your word
which I can view
which is magnified
above all else

It's not an aura
or an essence
it's as a musical sound

I am willing
whether for now and today
or preparing the way
and being in His death and sufferings
unto the perfect day

This noonday
it has been given unto me
righteousness breaking forth as light
and justice even in the sun's heat

In the fear of Isaac
and the King
I know surely
that even walking as He did presently
with the cross and sacrificing physically
that it is His Promises which shall also currently spring

I also know the range
the things which have been already taken out of the way

I have likened who I am
my life and what it consists
to not only your breath
but your virtuous sowing
and it is the door of which I presently ask
that it may be in the sky's pouring
in the wholeness of which the future
in our hands is storing
in this solemn quarter
it is my being which is singing
even possessing the secret of believing
my desire is as my glory
set on the commitment that is drawn
knowing also that in incorruption
there will be no sea
whose tides are shoring-
though also then
who can ask for His mercy in the morning?
I have divine blooming
and consider your untouched soaring
