Heaven's Mentality

Looking down from up above
I see the chaos and mess.
"What should I do?"
I pondered.
When I felt a tap
Upon my shoulder.
I turned around to see
A young man in front of me.
"My Son, what can I do for you?"
And as He looked into my eyes
He spoke the words that could change lives.
"What If I give all?"
He asks.
Tears whelmed up in my eyes.
"Send me to Earth so I might die."
I pondered this thought
And knew it must be so.
So here I stand now looking down
Upon His face.
Nailed to a cross,
Battered and torn,
Oh my heart, how it breaks.
Blood is pouring on the ground
Splashing on the people around.
He raises His head to me,
"Father, forgive them!"
He screams.
Then a simple,
"It is finished."
His head drops.
Three small words.
Simple, yet able to change the world.
The sky turns black.
The Earth begins to tremble.
This mand is the Son of Man.
They take the shell and lay it in a tomb.
Three days later, He will raise.
He shows Himself to His disciples.
He's descending to Heaven now,
Greeted with an embrace.
He now sits at His Father's right hand.
The people have a bridge now
In which to cross.
The choice
Is up to them.
This is,
Heaven's mentality.
