Hiding from the dream.
Longing for an escape,
From myself.
Locked on the inside is someone
Once known.
You killed that person
With the things you did.
You made her cry,
THen she bled.
You took her strength
Then you ripped out her heart
And broke it in two.
Then left her on the ground
Soaking in the memory of you.
She knew you once,
Knew who you were,
But then you vanished
And were no more.
I don't understand why you did this to me.
Why you left me this way.
Who's to blame?
All I know is I'm hiding in myself
Trying to savor who I am,
But I am not the same.
I"m dying within myself.
