When The Storm Blows By: Will You Be There? Part 2
This is part of a series and must be read through the end to understand. It's long I know but only way to get full effect. Kind of old too but don't hold that against me.
Lunch
I stand before
A lunchroomof screaming classmates.
The lights seem blinding.
I grip my tray
So hard my knuckles
Turn a ghastly white.
This is what I was dreading.
I don't know
Where to sit.
What groups are cool?
I notice the girl from English.
She catches my eye
And waves me over.
As I sit down,
I give a little small
As if a weight has lifted
Off my shoulder.
Introductions commence
And I'm one of the girls.
As I look around,
I'm surprised to noticed,
This,
Of all tables,
Is the popular table.

As good as, if not better,
As good as, if not better, than the part 1-the way you've written a story in poetic form shows how skilful you are ♥
