Your Eternity

Fragil souls caught in the hands of man
Trying to do things ourselves,
Thinking we can.
We can't do anything,
Can't you see!
Nothing in the flesh at least.
We get caught up in our own lives
Never taking the time to stop and pray
And see if God has another way.
We claim that we know it all,
But when someone comes along
Speaking the truth
Instead of shouting out "amens!"
We condemn and claim he's living in sin.
Where's the discernment?
Where's our forgiveness?
Are our hearts so cold
It's come to this?
Why do you sit there
And let things fold out
Until the very last
And then say,
"We have to pray?!"
You should have been praying all along!
You sit around expecting God to do it all.
Is it not a relationship?
You wonder why you have not.
You have not because you ask not.
Is this not scriptural?
You have to walk the walk
If you want to talk the talk.
Don't be blinded by the speck in your eye.
Your to blind to see
What's right in front of you.
Why can't you see?
This is your eternity.
Your choice,
Make it what you want it to be.
