A Tower of Giraffes

Eighteen feet tall!
As tall as a house,
My, we felt small,
As small as a mouse.
Gentle giants
Towered overhead,
Were we mere ants
Upon which to tread?
No need to fear
But wonder, and smile,
Their grace was clear
Even to a child!

Splendid Description

Paul,

In this simple, childlike poem you have wonderfully described one of nature's most curious creatures. Well done and well said.
