Water Droplet on a Leaf
Safely nestled
Like a crystal ball
On a baize surface,
It gleams
Invitingly.
Sunlight
Catches
Its surface
And it winks
Back at me
As if to say:
“Study me closer
For a little while
And you won’t
Be disappointed.”
