I feel this struggle,
deep inside.
No matter what,
I can't hide.

It's always there,
debating within.

I wish I had answers
to it all.
I want to rise,
but instead I fall.

I want to feel
at peace within.
It never happens,
I just can't win.

Even when I'm there,
it's still not right.
I'm not what you'd
call, the brightest light.

Shallow are the seeds
that live within my heart.
Struggles and storms
easily tear me apart.

I envy those who are strong
and know it all.
Those who remain focused
and continue to stand tall.

Will I ever get there,
where I long to be?
I suppose the answer
lies within God and me.
