THE TEAR

her eyelids looked downward
as though shamed by some force.
i saw a tear trickle and fall.
she looked upward a second
to see if by chance anyone noticed.
quickly they looked downward again

carnival ride?joker

the carousel goes 'round
the risque, vulgar,faces
of ancient carnival jokers
mar the magic of the ride.
they are all laughing at me,
laughing at me.
they taunt like the devils

WINDS OF INFINITY

as sands of time erode into yesterday
and memories fade into lost oblivion
i walk in greener grass than before
my toes not nearly so sensitive.
thousand year old waves rolling ever rolling

MAIDEN FAIR

one cold winter's night of fair
i stepped outside in the blackened air.
the wind blew it's breath through my hair
and the moon had naught nairy a care.
i saw across an empty field, a maiden fair

NINE FATHOM DEEP

aye, nine fathom deep
the mates do sleep,

their secrets they keep.
'twas a cross,
no albatross.

wickeds did leap.

spirits creep.

ELORA

They called her Elora,
and i thot it a just name
befitting her beauty.
the name a bit mystical as was she.
She was a beauty of the Gods.
