First glance,
I'm white,
Just one of a billion,
Plus some.

Watching from a distance,
I'm yellow.
Content as I am,
But happy too.

As an acquaintance,
I might be green.
Sort of shy around the edges,
But kind on the inside.

My family might say I was red.
A passion for what's right,
And what's not.

A teacher once said I was gold.
Happy, positive, living the life.
An all around good person.

A good friend said I'm a rainbow.
Full of the colors of different feelings and thought.
Having good days and bad.
Being happy then sad.

But really, I always thought of myself as black.
A shade, but not yet a color.
At the beginning, maybe the end.
I still have the colors of myself,
((white, yellow, green, red, gold, and rainbow))
But I haven't quite chosen the one to describe
The Color of Me.
