Clean glasses
Gladys cleaned her glasses, lovingly
hoping to eliminate the glaze.
She really wanted to see the gladioli
in the glade clearly,
they were known to glow in this lovely light.
Gleefully she glided over to gaze
at the flowers, glorious she thought.
Her eyes gleamed behind her clean
goggles, the flowers reflected in the glass.
The gladioli glistened making Gladys glow,
she glanced around at all the glamour,
girlishly she clapped her hands, delighted.

silly but good...
you are excellent at this, raskin. It must be difficult to find so many words starting with the same letter when you're trying to construct a poem. I can't imagine. Funny with beautiful images all at once!
joyce
I'm glad you enjoyed
For me it is like working a puzzle, but one I thoroughly enjoy. I usually start with an idea and a phrase then work from there. It really is a fun hobby for me. Thanks. raskin
