How do they happen?
They always seem to create fear
when they happen.
It seems to be an event
to be remembered
not forgotten.
Everyone likes to watch
with fascination
and excitement
awaiting the event
like an execution
or a parade.
Anticipation seems to be part of it,
like when candy is thrown
into a crowd.
A ripple of emotion.
A wave like at a baseball game
as it moves its way around the stadium.
Collisions seem slow sometimes,
like the steady march forward
where neither is able to vary or stray.
The crowd shouts stop, no.
But really it doesn't seem to matter
because the velocity has already started.
