Not High Brow

I was a mere kindergartner
sitting cross-legged

Enthralled with the roadrunner
her antics were always pegged

By that rascal Wil E Coyote
inevitably his ego was egged

Time and again I'd hear
the meep, meep

Roadrunner stopped to peer
over the edge into the deep

Wil E Coyote always too near
But to deaf to hear the beep

Over the cliff he would go
And really not to slow

I know it wasn't high brow
But laugh I did at that show
