Dream a little dream
Dream a little dream
Today I dreamt that I could talk, I took a step and tried to walk.
Got hugs and kisses just for me, because she heard me say mommy.
As time went by and I got bigger, so did my dreams, but I still love Tigger
I had a dream about this dog, and one time dreamt I caught a frog.
I sometimes dream that I can fly, Especially when I close my eyes.
When I peek, I’m on my swing, and there’s my mom, she's pushing me.
I learned just how to play baseball; my only dream was growing tall.
I know I should have told the truth, but someone asked, are you Babe Ruth?
As time passed by, I dreamt of girls. Look there she is, the one with curls.
I asked her if she'd walk with me, She said she would, like in my dream.
I saved my money in a jar, Dreaming one day I'd buy a car.
It would be red and go real fast, Guess what, I past my driving test.
When I got home to my surprise, I saw a red jeep in the drive.
My mom stood there so proud of me, She said it's yours and here's your keys.
Been dreaming that I’d go to Yale, I got this letter in the mail.
It said I won this scholarship; my mom just started doing flips.
Now when I dream about my life, I just look up, and there’s my wife.
She’s trying to help our baby walk, she swears today he tried to talk.

Red Tyger8, So Clever!!!
I love this poem! Clever idea using the "baby" as the speaker. So adorable and cute as a button!
