Lord, I bend my knees to pray
Austin needs your help, today.
His parents are hooked on meth.
Alone at home, Austin is often left.

Austin is just a twelve-year-old boy.
He does not have even one single toy.
Mom and dad are gone out all night.
Lord, these folks just are not doing right.

Please, when you read this prayer today
A prayer for little Austin, will you please say?
Bring his broken heart a little more joy.
Ask God to rescue this twelve-year-old boy.

(I am very serious about this. Austin is a twelve-year-old boy trapped in a life of meth and other dangerous drugs. His parents are completely hooked on the drug and often will leave him to fend for himself. )

(Unfortunately, this has become a common occurrence in our country with the rise of the use of meth, crack, and prescription medication. You might not know this Austin. However, you know an Austin. Please do more than just pray. Please, personally, help one of God little ones today.)

(Take this poem copy and post it around the Internet. You can even reword it and make it your own; just call it “Prayer request for Austin.” I seriously need your help to send prayer out for Austin and children everywhere like him. With your help our prayers will eventually be heard.)
