Homeless guy on that street

Sapping wet with rain on his face.
The smoky skies above dont show him kindness.
He kicks pebbles with his shoes so worn , the pair share a lace.
The sharpness of the cold wind that blows smacking at his mildness.

His eyes are blue like the cruel sea above, his teeth all black, most gone.
The cars that beep when he's polluting the scene.
He steps back in the shadows he knows , he's known for too long.
Remembers his pain , since he made a silly decision when he was a teen.

He finds a corner to stretch out his legs and wrinkles his eyes in thought.
leans back on the dirty brick wall and tries his hardest to sleep.
Through the traffic and dogs and alcohol his whole life he fought.
He sinks into a world that temporarily deletes his life of crap so deep.

Thinking this is his only way out he submits himself to the sky.
'Take me damn it!' he scream let me out of this night mare.
He wanted to free his soul, he wanted to simply die.
Believed in his heart of hearts that no one would ever care!

Now in that same old street, he lays in that same old spot.
thanking God for every chance and moment that he got.
He now sees that when you live a life that tests your soul within.
Submission to your Lord not sky is how you will surely win.
