She found what she craved

She lay with her soul dripping from her eyes.
She was losing her mind and was sick of the lies.
She was grinding her teeth, she was feeling empty.
She was annoyed at the world and her sorrows were plenty.
She picked off the bobbles from the worn out sheet onher bed.
She pulled at her hair as she wished she was dead.
She was sick in her gut at how her life turned out.
She often struggled and simply went without.
She prayed to anything that she thought could hear.
She cried pain and confusion with every tear.
She screamed silently inside her mind.
She swallowed the answers she couldn't find.
She peered through the window that faced the sky.
She sang to herself as the time went by.
She studied her hand and every crease that was drawn.
She counted every dent in the wall untill it was dawn.
She stood from her place and, broke the reflection of her face.
She wished to embrace, a new life, a new place.
She frowned most of her life and was ill with thought.
She regreted every time with her mother she fought.
She knew she had missed,a very big thing.
She knew what it was and what it would bring.
She walked outside, she listened to her heart.
She felt God tearing her nightmares apart.

Here's my take

Repenter,

This sounds like a woman who has recently lost her Mother and is suffering mightily due to the fact that they never got to set things straight before her Mother's passing. Am I close on my assessment?

Pete

Yes that is correct......

I actaully wrote this piece following the death of my friends mother....I saw in her great grief ,not only because she had lost her mum but that they never really got along and saw eye to eye......amazingly her mothers death made her a better and more respectful person as she realised that life is short and that she didnt want to ever repeat the mistakes either her or her mum had made......I didnt expect anyone to really figure out I was talking bout death but you are quick to pick up the hint I left in the write.....thank you very much.peace

You're Always Welcome
