Im all alone again
Alone with my thoughts
Im my only friend
No one to keep me company
Only my pad and pen
Nobody to hear my cries
No one with an ear to lend
I know how it came to pass
Relatively easy to comprehend
Feeling emotionally drained
Have no need to pretend
Wanting to move forward
Must find a way to transcend
The scars on my heart and soul
Ultimately i will have to mend
Hopeful that perhaps one day
My happiness will know no end
