LET ME GO DAMN IT
Depression has such
a tight hold of me..
Why or how I don't know,
it won't let go of me..
I slip in and out of it,but
its always there,looming..
When it finally takes over,
its totally consuming..
Loss of sleep,appetite,and
a feeling of such sorrow..
Wishing it would go away,but i
know it'll be there tomorrow..
I don't know what to do,it just
gets worse each passing day..
Im feeling like a blind man,that
can't seem to find his way..
How do I overcome this,can
I ever get this off my back..
Have to find a way soon,cause
I know Im about to crack..

I certainly hope that this poem is you being poetical, but something tells me that you might actually be here. The poem is wonderful but I don’t want you to feel this way, not even for the benefit of great poetry.

Very well written. I like it. It grabs your attention and I think that alot of people can relate... I am there as well. But, just keep your chin up and keep pushing forward. Find the cause of the depression and get it out of your life!

ive been here rick, felt that way exactly many times over my life.depression sucks! i know! thank god eventually we do get better if we hold on! hope you're better today
