TAKE MY ADVICE
Wouldn't have guessed I'd like it so much,
im so happy that I took the chance..
See,words to me now are like notes
of music,set for a written dance..
Writing I think can often give the
writer,a certain sense of being free..
I like to use my words to try and make
people see what I want them to see..
I try to paint them a picture,my pen
a brush,and paper(duh)my pallet..
All i have to do is just fill in the
blanks,and there you have it..
You know how the saying goes,the
pen being mightier than the sword..
I'd release my written fury upon thee,
no refuge for you,not even the lords..
I thank god for poetry,cause you aint seen
nothing til you seen a grown man cry..
Holding back my pain and tears,is the main
reason I decided to give poetry a try...
Sooooo!!
If by any chance you happen to notice that
your smile has been turned into a frown...
My advice is,get yourself a pen and some
paper,and just write that shit all down.....
It'll make you feel better,I promise!!

rick, you are so right.writing for me is the best thing ever, and words the most beautiful form of expression.i personally write better than i speak.im terrible at expressing myself verbally and words help me.id rather write my lover poetry that say all sorts of things.i love words , they do make me feel better.thanks!-mona-

I sometimes have trouble talking too,its like I have the best intention but it comes off wrong anyway....im much better after a drink or two lol...Ricklovin

Agreed!!! More often than not I am introverted, and I express through my writing. I bottle up every emotion that I'm feeling and I save it for when I have a pen in hand. So, a lot of times you'd never know how I'm feeling unless you are a dedicated reader. Works good for me that way. Awesome poem! You are definately among my favorite poets! ;o)
