Preface to Spring Words
Take a journey with me
No, this isn’t paradise
But I suppose it’s not hell
Imagine being perched on a barren tree
With nothing to sacrifice
Just you and me
The leaves have long fallen
As well as the snow
It seems all is now balanced
Though looks can still deceive
As the earth seems to dissolve
And we continue on in irony and malice
For make me as bold as the oak
And give me patience thick as a redwood
Then maybe we can put down that peacepipe
Because peace has been found
And indeed, the birds will still be singing
And the fox will not scavenge any longer.
