The Big Sleep
Completely shrouded in mystery,
Forever cursed by the ministry.
It’s the big sleep.
What man has said about death is infinite
And for the most part of no value.
Many have walked along the edge,
Looking face to face with cliff,
Or the wall for some.
Some cannot see,
The values of the future.
For when the time comes,
And you do die,
Let it be a reward.
A reward for a proud life,
Completed with everything you ever dreamed.
Because it’s not worth the wait,
Not worth the debate,
To spend this time wondering
On whether was to do is right,
As long as you do something.
Something to be proud of.
Because everything saved for those “one days”
Just isn’t good enough.
