All lost and now found

She walked to the front door
eyes blinking from tears.
Never forgotten
no matter the years.

“Hello Mam, Hello Sir”
How will they treat us?
Will they ignore her
when she makes a fuss?

Or will they love her
and care for her needs.
Helping her grow
like fresh-planted seeds.

They have but each other
no one left just four.
Her brothers and sister,
soon found was one more.

Together they came
to love and to trust.
A household, a family,
their unity a must.

They kept them together
five children of ages.
They had not a one,
they covered all stages.

How could they ever
repay them for caring?
Making a future
open hearts with them sharing.

Thank God for them looking
all lost and now found.
Cause their voices grew silent
not making a sound.

Now all grown up
in the States and up North.
She remembers their father
and his love he put forth.
