Angels and Demons

I know not why_The angels... fly?
To snatch a teardrop_From the sky.
Yet as I stroll_These angels roll ?
To bind a rainbow to your soul.

I look skywards as feathers fall,
around me landing in a squall.
Hoping there was no bloodshed,
I stuff my pillow for my head.

I stuff my pillow
for my head,
and snuggle down
inside my bed.
These angels
lean
to gleam at me.
I hope
That I'm
not dead!

Surely napping on your bed.
I do dread if you were dead.
Michael whispered in my ear
and wiped away my salty tear.
For I feared you would not wake.
He said “No worry's for Heavens sake”

Michael whispered in my ear.
He said to me 'Its love I fear'.
For I have searched
throughout the year.
Whilst trapped inside
a giant tear!

Open your heart
and let love in.
To hide inside
a tear’s a sin.
Wake up now
my pretty girl.
No longer trapped
give love a whirl.

Lets pray for love
give love a whirl.
No matter if
you're boy or girl.
Watch your
future dreams unfurl.
As I float by
on lemon twirls!

Heaven’s for angels
this is true.
The earth was made
for me and you.
Love leads us round
just take its hand.
No need for wings
when on the land.

The earth was made
For you and I.
To sail upon
a distant sky.
To pass beyond
a lullaby.
And dream of Angels
streaming by.

Michael said
as he streamed by,
What you have
I should try.
A sour twist
was on his list.
I liked it most
with sugar mist.
I have them saved
deep in my pockets.
When on my tongue
explode like rockets !
