Dare I Ponder?
It came to me
on one fine day,
a thought worth thinking thru.
At first it floated
round my brain,
scheming my next coup.
You see I am
not all alone,
she acts like she’s the man .
She rules this tryst
with iron fist,
murder is my plan.
At all cost
I must try,
and not make a big mess.
I hear to do it
in her sleep,
around her throat caress.
Or should a silent
drop or two,
fall in her coffee cup?
A potent mix
of hemlock,
for her not to wake up.
There must be
a thousand ways
to end this blessed hell.
Dare I ponder,
how to pull
the cord to her death bell.

I like the tone of this poem. whimsical and determined at the same time. I was only confused by the line "I hear to do it" can you elaborate?

While listening to one of Stings songs "Murder by numbers 1,2,3" I got the idea and called him. He told me this was indeed a simple yet effective way to take care of my problem.
It would be a good time to "execute" my plan while she is sleeping so as not to have a mess, so I hear :)
