In my line of view

In my line of view

Everyday I watch and see
the days events past by.
What comes into my line of view
is chosen by my eye.

The impact made from what goes on
effects my daily thought.
Causing mental attitudes
affecting what is sought.

But why do I train my eye
on certain points of view?
Is it my brain that makes me strain
focus becomes askew?

I now do think that what I see
comes from what I want.
Reflections imaging my mind
mirage from phantom font.

Debs,

A close friend told me about "A Course in Miracles" and one of the daily lessons conveys this thought and this is my take:
"What you see reflects your thinking and your thinking but relfects your choice of what you want to see."

thank you for reading my poem :)

always
Ron
