Lines in the Sand
Each boundry made
as logic fails
when oaths are soon forgotten,
I cross that line,
only to find
my promise has turned rotten.

Inspiration comes from many people, places and things; “experience, strength and hope” is no different. Borne from my life’s wants, needs, pleasures, pain and desires it is truly a product of heart felt relationships and interactions with friends and family.
Boundries..
I like what this piece represents Ron, and the reasoning with ourselves in regards to making/keeping oaths. The importance of looking inwardly at ourselves and taking stock of any given situation. It is an important message really to send out, and it has been written in a lighthearted way which i feel reaches more people than if it was a full on religious piece.
Hope that makes sense.

The point i was trying to make is that so often lines are drawn in the sand which changes when the wind blows.
When oaths and promises are made they should be made as if made in concrete. I for some reason have been doing my interpretation of Ogden Nash and keeping it short (which he did many times) and to the point.
You always make sense to me
