My Sweet Valentine

my sweet valentine

milky smooth chocolate medallions
strewn about my bed
fragrance of a dozen rose
crimson scarlet red

on paper sonnets written down
heart felt feelings made quite known
reminding how she yearns for me
like a vine our lives have grown

little hearts with sticky back
she’s placed all out of sight
like a child on xmas day
i search with all my might

porcelain angel she did give to me
resides above my bedroom door
gifts given in such tenderness
bound with her sweet allure

my arms always reach for her
and that soft embrace
kisses from those puffy lips
the taste of pure sucrase

my one and only valentine
we spiral and entwine
i’m yours until the end of time
my sweet valentine be mine
