One-sided conversation

Speaking without words,
not expecting a verbal utterance.
Hearing silence that soothes my troubled soul
while fully ignorant to where my thoughts disperse.
In full disclosure of covert maneuver’s
but stumbling in my lonely darkness’,
Opening my conscience I share all the emptiness.
Asking for rejuvenation
yet answering with explanation of my degradation.
Presuming consecration will ensue,
quandary of my absolution.
Needing answers to questions
wanting a nod to be allowed.
Imagining a sign of procedure
with fervent pleadings for help.
Reflection of sins and saintly actions
baring the basic reasons to my deeds.
Seeking passage thru silent shadows of self awareness
contemplating life’s futility.
Divvying manifestations of my reality
groping for the daily reprieve.
Exposing barriers of my inner sanctum
unveiling the very essence of my existence.
Pondering in humble reverence,
that my one-sided conversation
didn’t fall on deaf ears.
