What I’d do for you

As the days go by I ask myself
what I’d do for you.
It doesn’t take long to have my answer,
the list goes on and on.

I’d follow the hardest path,
endure my worst nightmares,
loose all I have that is mine,
just to be with you.

There is nowhere on God’s green earth
you could be where I won’t go.
No ocean big enough that I won’t cross
to hold you in my arms.

What would I do for you
did not play on my mind.
The answer came right away,
without a second thought.

I found these feelings deep in my heart,
in my soul and mind.
They were always there waiting to surface.
It is you who brought them out of me.

Patience, faith and belief
see me through each night and day.
The time we spend together
would not be traded for gold.

When we’re apart,
not very far away,
you still feel near,
as if standing next to me.

I do admit
I miss your warm embrace.
That can’t be replaced
no matter how hard I try.

I need your presence, I need your voice,
I need your love all the time.

“What would I do “
you ask of me darling?
My love has no bounds.
Anything ,just anything is what I’d do for you …
